It is a traditional fisherman's village with cobbled streets and higgledy-piggledy cottages.
It truly is a charming location. There are lovely, characterful pubs that serve excellent food. Cobbles which sells ice cream, coffee the best I have ever tastedgifts and plenty of doggy treats is definitely worthy of a visit. They are now also doing delicious, home-made pizzas to take away on Friday and Saturday evening.
Dotty's is well-known for the amazing scones they serve. Well, everything there is fabulous.
There is Spindrift Cafe on the seafront. You'll find a friendly service and delicious snacks and drinks there.
A butcher opens every morning until noon, and he sells much more than just meat. Many essentials can be bought here.
Betsy and Bo sweet shop and deli mustn't be missed. Emporium has a wide range of gifts. We also have an amazing art gallery.
If you want to treat yourself while on holiday we have a wonderful lady doing reflexology and Indian Head massages in the village as well. For grocery shopping there is a Co-op on the main road that sells just about everything imaginable.
